Advantages:

1. The bills are more likely to be paid back if it's online.
2. The goverment won't spend as much on postings, stamps and paper.
3. It is a lot faster to do it on a website than to do it by post.

Disadvantages:

1. There could be identity theft as people could get hold of credit card details sent over the interenet.
2. The digital divide can mean that some people cannot use the internet connection.
